"How Can We Jump Start IT Projects to Increase the Odds for
Success? "
The key driver for change for most customers is the need to do business more effectively and
more efficiently.  Typically they tend to look first to technology that will help them achieve those
change objectives.  However, technology alone will not achieve the change objectives - an
organization must also be ready for change in terms of their people and their business processes.

As more and more organizations fight their way out of multiple stove pipe legacy systems and into
the wonderful world of Enterprise Resource Program solutions they are faced with failed IT
implementations.  This is especially true when the enterprise solution is a black box (silver
bullet) solution.  Jack will explore the possibility that we can increase our chances for success in
these efforts by leveraging some up front disciplines to Jump Start our projects.
